Privacy Policy
LoreBoard is a Twitch Extension. It displays a board of information written by a broadcaster - text, dropdowns, countdowns, tables and meters - to viewers of that channel. It runs entirely inside Twitch.
Data stored
The extension stores the board a broadcaster writes: tabs, blocks and their content, and the theme and overlay settings.
This content is stored in Twitch's extension configuration service for the broadcaster's channel, on Twitch's infrastructure. Twitch delivers it to the extension's views when they load, and live edits reach current viewers over Twitch's extension PubSub service.
The broadcaster may change or clear this content at any time from the extension's configuration view.
Data not collected
- No accounts, passwords or profiles.
- No cookies and no local storage of viewer data in the published extension.
- No analytics, telemetry, tracking or advertising code.
- No external requests. The extension loads only its own files from Twitch's CDN and Twitch's extension helper script. We operate no server.
- No viewer identity. The extension does not request Twitch's identity permission and never receives a Twitch user ID, name or email address.
- No profiling, and no sale or sharing of data.
Data we can access
We cannot access board content or any information about viewers. We hold no copy of any channel's configuration and no record of who views a board.
Twitch provides us, through its developer console, with aggregate usage statistics: daily counts of channels that have the extension installed and activated. These figures identify no individual.
Twitch's role
The extension runs inside Twitch, is served by Twitch, and stores its data with Twitch. Twitch's handling of that data is governed by Twitch's privacy notice: https://legal.twitch.com/en/legal/privacy-notice/.
This website
loreboard.app is a set of static pages served by Cloudflare Pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, telemetry, tracking or advertising code, and has no accounts or sign-in.
The interactive demo on the front page keeps its example board in your browser's local storage so it survives a reload. That content never leaves your browser, and clearing site data removes it.
Children
LoreBoard is used through Twitch and follows Twitch's age requirements. It collects no data from any user.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes accompany a new extension version.
