# Terms of Use

*Effective 12 August 2026, applies to the LoreBoard Twitch Extension*

These terms cover use of the LoreBoard Twitch Extension. Installing or using the extension means accepting them.

## Cost

LoreBoard is free. There is no paid tier, no subscription, no Bits product and no in-extension purchase.

## What it does

It gives a broadcaster a configuration view for writing a board of information (tabs holding text blocks, dropdowns, link lists and countdowns) and shows that board to viewers of the channel as a video overlay, video component, panel, or mobile view. Board content is stored in Twitch's extension configuration service. No account with the operator exists and no other server is involved.

## Broadcaster content and responsibility

The broadcaster writes everything a viewer sees in a board, and is responsible for it: the text, the link labels and the destinations those links point to.

Content published through LoreBoard must comply with the [Twitch Terms of Service](https://www.twitch.tv/p/legal/terms-of-service/), the [Twitch Community Guidelines](https://www.twitch.tv/p/legal/community-guidelines/), and the [Twitch Extensions Guidelines and Policies](https://dev.twitch.tv/docs/extensions/guidelines-and-policies/). Where those documents and these terms differ, the Twitch documents govern.

In particular, and per Twitch Extension policy, boards must not carry advertising or sponsorship content, links to shops or purchase sites other than Twitch or Amazon, NFT-related links, or content that replicates Twitch functionality. Links must be to destinations the broadcaster is entitled to point viewers at.

## Acceptable use

- Do not use the extension to publish unlawful content, or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Do not attempt to interfere with the extension, or with Twitch's services through it.
- Do not present the extension as something other than what it is.

## No warranty

LoreBoard is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free, and it depends on Twitch services which are outside the operator's control.

## Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of the extension, including lost content, lost viewers or lost revenue. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

## Changes and availability

The operator may update the extension, change its features, or stop offering it. Updated versions are released through Twitch's extension review process. Continued use after an update means accepting the terms in force at that time. A broadcaster may stop using the extension at any time by deactivating or uninstalling it in the Twitch creator dashboard.
